Robyn's soccer game-Taylor's pictures

Taylor took every single one of these soccer pictures! Didn't she take a great action shot?! This was the Lambuth University Alum game that I actually played on Sat.

I'm not sure what I was more impressed with, the fact that we got a goal (first, I might add) or the fact that Taylor got it on camera! Go Oldies, but Goodies! Great job Taylor!!

You don't have to tell me that this is NOT a flattering picture, but when your 7 year old rides in the car over an hour to watch her mommy play soccer, you've just come off the field and she takes your picture you've just got to post it any way : ) Besides, this is proof that I was there and I played!

OK, so this wasn't the final score, but this is the one I liked better (we're the visitor, because we're playing against the current team). Actually we tied (1:1)-not bad for a couple of 24 year olds - 30 "somethings" taking on a group of 18-20 year olds (who also are not only younger, but play soccer every day, I might add)!

More of our Trip

This is Todd on the Pirate Ship!

I know I went a little picture crazy since Todd was letting me take pictures with him actually in them!

This was painted on the inside of the Ship and I thought it looked really cool.

Oh I almost forgot, (can you believe I left off anything in my many comments below!) when Mike was walking us back to our car we got to tour the locker room. I snapped my last shot of Todd! (for now any way!)

Robyn & Todd

OK, so Todd and I got a chance to get a way for a bit without our children. Make no mistake about it-WE LOVE OUR CHILDREN! But, it was nice to have some time to ourselves! Todd had a conference in Tampa and I got to tag along for the first time ever and we had a blast. This is the first time I picked up the camera, because usually I only use the camera for Taylor and Tyler. Needless to say this was the first time I remembered the camera!! I will always remember this night because Todd wanted to share an experience with me that he had growing up, so we went to Bern's. The word phenomenal doesn't do it justice! However, this was also the night that Memphis played Kansas and being the crazy sports fans that we are, we tried our hardest to not miss tip off. We realized there was no getting around it. Since, we couldn't see the game at that very moment the piano man in the dessert room played "Eye of the Tiger". It was great and to top it off someone requested a song for Kansas and he quickly started playing "If I only had a Brain" from the Wizard of OZ-I mean you can't beat that!! The only thing that would've MADE that night is if the Tigers would've won the game!!! Oh well, there's always next year!

The last day of our trip we got to tour the Tampa Bay Bucc's Pirate Ship-you know where they fire the cannons! Todd is always reluctant to take pictures, but the Pirate Ship was all the incentive he needed. I took this picture and was so excited to get the background. This is actually a sponsorship sign from Publix with a patch over the P!

Not that I'm trying to advertise for anyone, but I thought this was also a really cool picture because it was taken right when the signs were changing and you can still see the Pirate Patch-it's a sign Tampa Bay is taking the Super Bowl this year. (You know this works either way, because they are hosting the Super Bowl this year!)

I have very few pictures of the 2 of us, so I had to post this one as well. During our trip we got to go to the Final Four. You may ask how we got to attend this event when we were in Tampa, well....we saw the Lady Vols take on Standford! Pat Summit added another Championship under her belt and it was great to be able to say we were there-no we didn't wear any orange or anything. We had all the plans in the world to wear our Memphis gear, but that was compromised! Hey I'm still a big Tiger fan-I was raised on Tiger basketball, but even a big Tiger fan like myself needed to forget the previous night and think about next season. It was a little hard just watching basketball the next night; I was still in my depression phase. No worries, next year is ours (after we practice our free throws). Any way, we had an amazing trip and it was well deserved and we're so grateful Nana "Nanny" Mastry took care of our precious little ones while we were gone! Thank you Judy! You couldn't ask for a better trip: the Sun, Us-time, great food, sports, a tour of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' Stadium along with the Pirate Ship and getting back in time to not miss any more inches of our children growing. I just hope I don't peal away all of my sun!

Well deserved rest!

I saw this and thought it was awesome! I grabbed the camera and was even willing to wake the baby just to get this photo. Needless to say, I woke the baby and he wasn't happy-nor was I. But, eventually he went back to sleep, so we could finally get some sleep!!

The Final Easter Egg Hunt

OK, I know I'm a little late posting my Easter pictures, so to make up for it I'm posting tons for you to enjoy! Taylor and Tyler had so much fun looking for eggs and Todd and I enjoyed watching our children having so much fun!

The Final Easter Egg Hunt Cont'd

Tyler and Taylor had a blast in our backyard searching for Easter eggs! Todd and I just enjoyed seeing the excitement in their eyes. I took so many pictures that I figured I'd share some of my favorites with you (I promise this is no where near all of the pictures) My only excuse is that this was the first Easter Egg Hunt in our yard and this is Tyler's first Easter that he could hunt for eggs. We all loved every minute of it!

The Final Easter Egg Hunt cont'd

Taylor was so excited to have another Easter Egg Hunt! Only the Easter Bunny received a request from Mommy & Daddy to not have any more additional dentist appointments (sorry Dr. Carrier!). So, the Easter Bunny was nice enough to leave money (coins) in the Easter eggs this year. "THANK YOU EASTER BUNNY, BROCK, BROCK!!"

"Must find more!"

Taylor is making sure to find all the money, I mean eggs, this year!

Stopping only for pictures, but no autographs please!!

The Final Easter Egg Hunt cont'd

Tyler really had a lot of fun finding eggs. The Easter Bunny hid soccer ball eggs for Tyler to find & the "Easter Bunny" underestimated how much Tyler would like finding eggs or how many he'd want to find! So, Daddy, Mommy & Sissy would sneak out eggs from Tyler's basket and hide them else where in the yard until all of our fingers were frozen & we just couldn't hide/look for eggs outside anymore (well until next year anyway!).

"They're all mine!"

"I can't believe I trusted you with my basket and all my eggs!"

"Do you see any more eggs? I must have more eggs!"
